Bearcats and Bulldogs fight to a draw


SALEM, Ore. — Willamette University and the University of Redlands battled to a 2-2 draw on Friday evening at Sparks Field. The Bulldogs struck first with a goal in the first half, but the Bearcats responded with an equalizer before halftime. Both teams added another goal in the second half, resulting in the tie. SALEM, Ore. — Pomona-Pitzer overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Willamette University 3-2 on Friday at Sparks Field. The Bearcats led 1-0 at the break, but the Sagehens scored three second-half goals to clinch the victory.

Rory McKee scored for the Bearcats, finding the net on one of his two shots. Drew Alexander also contributed a goal, with both of his shots being on target. Brenden Pineda recorded an assist, adding to the team's offensive efforts.
